Other University Symbols & Logos

Presidential Seal

The presidential seal is reserved for official use, such as diplomas, certificates of graduation, official university or presidential communication, reports, policies, and at the University President’s discretion. In addition, the seal may be used for permanent structures, awards, and special projects.

University Medallion

The University medallion is an alternative to the presidential seal and has more flexibility to be used in digital and print materials. The medallion may be used as a design element and can be used for embossing, stamping, or foil reproduction. The medallion is to be used for merchandising and artwork and should not be used for official documents or in place of the standard University logos.

University Seal

University seals serve as an alternative to the Utah Tech University presidential seal. The University seal is customizable to individual departments and may be used on print materials, awards, and official documents representing the department, college, or division.

Brooks Caricature

Departments with a youth-focused mission may use the Brooks caricature. The caricature may be customized by the University Marketing and Communication (UMAC) Office to reflect the department’s purpose. Use of the Brooks caricature logo must be approved by UMAC.
